Flu Clinic Today at Narragansett Town Hall (and 4 More Things)

    Community Flu Clinic: This morning from 9-10 a.m., South County Hospital will host a flu vaccination clinic at Narragansett Town Hall, located at 25 Fifth Avenue. Vaccinations will be available to individuals age 19 and older. Those with health insurance must bring proof of coverage. Click here for insurance and payment information.

    "Be Aggressive" at URI: Tonight and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., URI Theatre presents the drama, "Be Aggressive" by Annie Weisman in the Department's J Studio. The production, published in Smith and Kraus' Best Plays of 2001 and by Dramatists Play Service, is the offbeat telling of a classic tale of journey and catharsis in the complicated life of a teenage girl.     Star Gazing at Frosty Drew Observatory: This and every Friday night at 6 p.m., get star struck at the Frosty Drew Observatory's Public Stargazing Night (61 Park Ln., Charlestown). Be sure to subscribe to the Frost Drew Observatory mailing list or follow them on Twitter (@FrostyDrewOBSY) to receive status updates about the public stargazing program. This is a free event, however donations are greatly appreciated.

    SK Town Notice: The second quarterly installment of taxes assessed Dec. 31, 2012, is payable on or before Nov. 1, 2013. Interest will be charged from Aug. 1, 2013, if payment is not made when due. Mail payments to: Tax Collector, 180 High Street, Wakefield, RI 02879. Be sure to include your quarterly stub with your payment.

    Tomorrow - Jim Gaffigan at URI: On Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m., the University of Rhode Island's Ryan Center will host comedian, Jim Gaffigan with a Special Guest.
