    Customer Appreciation: Tonight beginning at 5 p.m., the Narragansett Pier Marketplace business community is hosting a special Customer Appreciation Night as a way of thanking Narragansett's loyal customers.     Free Meditation Workshop: Have you ever wanted to try meditation? You're in luck! From 3-4 p.m. today, learn all about the ancient practice of mind-training during a free workshop led by Dr. Celina Pereira. The workshop is hosted by and will take place at the Narragansett Public Library, located at 35 Kingstown Road, Narragansett.

    Forensic Science Seminar: From 3:30-5 p.m. tonight, as well as Nov. 15, 22 and Dec. 6, the URI Crime Laboratory group will host a free Forensic Science Partnership Seminar in Room 124 of Pastore Hall (51 Lower College Rd., Kingston). The four seminars are open to the public and will each feature a different subject. Tonight's event will be a presentation about Fingerprint Analysis by Forensic Consultant Shawn Dolan.     Star Gazing at Frosty Drew Observatory: Tonight and every Friday evening at 6 p.m., get star struck at the Frosty Drew Observatory's Public Stargazing Night (61 Park Ln., Charlestown). Be sure to subscribe to the Frost Drew Observatory mailing list or follow them on Twitter (@FrostyDrewOBSY) to receive status updates about the public stargazing program. This is a free event, however donations are greatly appreciated.
