    Retirement Panel: Today, Aug. 28 at 2 p.m., Kingston Free Library (2605 Kingstown Rd., Kingston) will host a retirement panel mediated by Professor Nancy Shuster. The event will feature community experts regarding financial planning in retirement, health and wellness, sports, music and senior services. There will also be time for questions and answers. Refreshments will be served. Register by calling 783-8254.

    Ballroom Dance Lessons: On Wednesday evenings year-round, The Towers in Narragansett offers ballroom dance lessons led by instructors Sara Barker and Sue Davis. Ballroom lessons are held at 6 and 7 p.m., Tango at 8 p.m., followed by an open practice for all from 9-10:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person for Ballroom or Tango, or $22 per person for a full evening.     Plan Ahead - "Town Hall"-style Jobs Forum: As part of his Classroom to Career tour, Congressman Jim Langevin will hold a town hall-style meeting at 6 p.m. tomorrow, Aug. 29 at Kingston Free Library. The purpose of Thursday's forum is to discuss career training and placement with local students and adults looking to move ahead in the workforce and provide an overview of legislation Langevin is currently working on. Click here to learn more.
