Girls’ Slow Pitch Softball League 2013 Registration
In person registration for the 2013 South Kingstown Girls' Slow Pitch Softball League will be held on Saturday, January 26, from 10:00 am to noon and again on Wednesday, February 6, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Neighborhood Guild. New and returning coaches may fill out a coaching application at in-person registration (copy of Driver's license and an additional form of ID are required for the background check). League sweatshirts and sweatpants may be ordered at in-person registration or by mail-in form available online.
Early-bird registration fees (prior to February 7th) are $35 for the Instructional program, held on Saturday mornings starting April 27 (ages 7-8), $55 for the Junior League (ages 9-12), and $60 for Senior League (age 13 through high school senior). Please register early - fees go up $10 ($5 for Instructional) on Feb. 7th and registration closes on March 13th.
Junior and Senior League games are played twice a week from mid-May through July at Old Mountain Field. Financial assistance is available if registering in-person. All ages are as of Dec. 31, 2012 (proof of age is not required). Online registrations are payable by credit card only and an additional $2.00 transaction fee is applied. The League welcomes girls of all skill levels from South Kingstown and surrounding towns and is dedicated to teaching the basic skills of softball in a fun, recreational program. More About The Neighborhood Guild
The Neighborhood Guild has been offering recreational opportunities for South Kingstown residents of all ages since 1908. Some of the many activities offered by the Guild include pottery class, creative writing workshops and 35+ basketball leagues.
The Guild also hosts birthday parties and group trips. Some of the trips include Waterfire in Providence, a New York shopping trip and performances at the Providence Performing Arts Center.
