Hands in Harmony is excited to share our new groups and class offerings!!

We will be running a Music and Sign Group for children ages 1-4 run by board certified music therapist Kristi Rood and Sign Instructor/Hands in Harmony intern James Smith. Group enrollment is limited to six, so please contact us as soon as possible if you are interested! Music and Sign Group begins on Friday October 19th, 2012 at 9:00am and is a six week series. 

 

 

This fall, we will also be offering an American Sign Language class for parents. We seek to offer additional groups and classes in January, including classes for youth, employees, emergency service workers, medical professionals, and clinical staff. We will also be expanding our collaborative groups to varying age levels on an as needed basis.  Please contact us if you are interested in one of these groups/classes that will be coming soon!

Located in downtown Wakefield, Easter Seals Rhode Island is the leading non-profit organization in Rhode Island that provides early intervention services for children up to three years of age with disabilities and special needs. The center also helps individuals through age 21 with education and job placement.

Extending beyond its Wakefield home, Easter Seals works with families throughout Washington County and in areas of Kent and Newport Counties. The organization provides help, hope and answers so people with special needs can live more independent lives. This aid comes in many forms, from physical therapy and feeding to developmental evaluations and service coordination. Easter Seals also provides families with support and guidance.
