DESCRIPTION:This four-week course acquaints students with the beautiful\,
  line-sensitive art of etching\, in which they weill experience the thri
 ll of creating multiple prints. The class introduces exciting\, new\, he
 alth-conscious techniques for non-toxic\, zinc plate etching\, replacing
  the dangerous methods of the past. Students will work towards creating 
 an edition\, which will result in an exchange portfolio at the completio

 ructor: Jill Cook\nJill studied painting and printmaking at Rhode Island
  College where she earned her BFA as well as a BA in Art History in 2007
 .&nbsp\; Her prints have been exhibited nationally in universities and m
 useum galleries.&nbsp\; She is currently pursuing her MFA in interdiscip
 linary studies at the Vermont College of Fine Art.
