More About Narragansett Town Beach
When the New England weather begins to turn in April and May, locals and tourists alike flock to Narragansett Town Beach, displacing the seagulls that call it home during the winter. There are several paid lots and side streets near the beach, and any possible spot within two blocks is often taken by noon during the busy summer season. Residents can buy passes for the beach and cabanas. Details are available on the town's website. There is free parking along the one-mile seawall, which is popular for walking and biking. The seawall runs under the historic Towers facility and the Coast Guard House restaurant, before ending near Monahan's Restaurant.
