Wind and rain prevented a high-flying Santa from making his debut at the Wakefield Mall via helicopter Friday morning, but the jolly old elf still made it to the show on time.

Volunteers from the UFD's Forest Fire Station allowed Santa to use their sleigh, Engine 3, and he was greeted by dozens of children and their families in the parking lot around 11am.  Santa will be at the Wakefield Mall right up until Christmas Eve.  Check out the video below for a recap of the event!
