Beth, thanks for providing links to more great information. You have helped to build at the farmers market a wonderful community of farmers, growers, bakers, other vendors, musicians, AND CONSUMERS. I wonder if people in general realize that one can do much if not most of their weekly shopping at the farmers market?

Not only can you do your weekly shopping at the Farmers' Market, you can have fun while doing it! It's fun to plan your weekly meals using the fresh local foods that are available, run into people you know (as big as South County has become, it's still a wonderfully small community), asking the farmers for tips, how-tos and recipes - entering a recipe contest! A bright spot in the Saturday chore and errand list!
