Unless otherwise noted, files at Washington County Superior Court contain the information about the following court cases. You can review them at the McGrath Judicial Complex.
Neil E. Britto, 43, now of 201 Pittman St., Providence, and formerly of 26 Burnside Ave., Woonsocket, pleaded no contest in January to a South Kingstown police felony charge of larceny greater than $1,500 – a van.
In return for his plea, Superior Court Associate Justice Melanie Thunberg ordered Britto to serve three years probation and a three-year suspended sentence, and to pay $450 in assessments. A no-contact order was entered between Britto and the victim.
The decision was also referred to a special magistrate for restitution. A cost review is scheduled for June 26.
