Connecticut Woman Charged With License Violation
Micayla E. Buckley, 23, of 182 Quinnipiac Ave., North Haven, CT, was arrested at about 3:11 a.m. on Jan. 20 and charged with driving with a suspended license.
According to police, an officer noted a car parked near the middle of the roadway on Route 138 near Omer Drive, before it made a three-point turn. Police said a check of the plate revealed the registration expired in April 2012, and a traffic stop was made near Keaney Road.
Police said a background check of the driver – Buckley – revealed that her Connecticut driver’s license was suspended as of January 2012. As a result, she was arrested without incident.
According to police, Buckley was processed and then released at about 12:20 p.m. She was also cited for driving with an expired vehicle registration.
- Giovanni Graziosa, 18, of 22 Wilbur Place, Bronxville, NY; Ryan Brown Mueller, 19, of 7 South Drive, Larchmont, NY; and Samuel J. Treinish, 19, of 11 Inwood W. Lane, Cortlandt Manor, NY, were cited at about 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
According to police, an officer clocked a BMW driven by Treinish at 42 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone on Route 108. A traffic stop was made.
Police said that during the traffic stop, a 12-pack of Budweiser was visible on the rear seat.
According to police, when they asked Treinish to open the trunk, he claimed they needed a warrant. At that point, they noted that they had probable cause to search the trunk because of the visible alcohol in the front of the car, and he popped the trunk, revealing a case of Natural Light beer.
Police said the alcohol was confiscated and destroyed, and the three were cited for possession. Treinish was also cited for transportation of alcohol by a minor.
