Narragansett High School senior Sarah Barton is hosting a 12-team cheerleading competition today at 1 p.m. at the high school.
According to her coach, Kristen Razza, teams from across the state will be competing. The Mariners will also put on an exhibition performance.
In meets this year, Narragansett posted scores of 66, 65, 60 and 67.75, for an overall score of 63.44. This was good for 13th of 20 teams in the state, although the breakdowns by class size were not posted on the RIIL website.
