Poll: What Would You Do?

What if you were the lucky Powerball jackpot winner? Tell us what you would do with your new found fortune.

Okay, so it may be a little disappointing when you hear that a Rhode Island Powerball ticket took home the big prize and you realize it wasn't you. But what if it was?

The $336.4 million winning ticket was purchased from the Stop & Shop located at 250 Bellevue Ave. in Newport. Officials said the ticket holder has yet to come forward.

With the winning ticket so close to home, it has made many fantasize about what they might have done with the money had they won.

One of our Facebook users said this:

I would make sure I took care of my family 1st, then charitable donations and some very special friends... Then I'd take a year-long vacation and do everything on my "bucket list" - Linda Petrone

So tell us, what would you have done with $336.4 million? Would you have given to charity? Would you go on a month-long vacation? Would you have quit your job, bought a Ferrari and sailed away into the sunset? Vote in our poll and use the comments section below to share your millionaire fantasy life.

I would set up a endowment for Welcome House of South County, pay off my childrens mortgages, send them on a vacation of their choice, buy a "nice" RV and travel the US helping people who are just on the edge.

I would give every professional/paraprofessional in the entire state that works with people who have special needs a HUGE raise.......they are the ones who deserve the 6 figure salaries that most administrators make, yet they often make little more than minimum wage....what are all those kids who have Autism going to do when they are adults? I would fund the building of programs and supports for them as adults and those who help families care for loved ones who have autism or any other related disability.

Quickly develop a non-profit and redeem the ticket in it's name.
Then the gov't cannot tax even a $1- of it.
Then designate salaries for myself and family as pres etc of non-profit.
Then buy houses for needy & pay off houses in/near foreclosure.
Enroll all their children in private schools.
Set up a law clinic for needy low/middle income.
A dental & medical clinic with experienced staff.
An office assisting with food. clothing ,household ,furniture etc . [gift cards]
So many lottery winners I have seen on tv are broke by the end of the yr ???
They give little if any to the above.
Plus lottery should have more winners !
It's designed to select the one and only ticket.
So they will make more on taxes from it.
If more won they could improve their lives/families..
Write to your Reps/Senators and make it a law !

I would call my new legal team... Then buy a large house in town to accommodate my newly adopted children (I'm in the middle of adopting now) then assist the high school with its new field and yes buy a new instrument for every child in the towns music program! Oh yeah and buy my hubby a working car!
