GO PASTA, an excellent take out in Wakefield, has amazing pizza, currently only offered Fridays or by chance, and usually by calling ahead. However, the owner is opening a full time restaurant next door very soon with a wood burning stove from Italy and will offer thiss amazing pizza as a menu item daily. Only the best ingredients. Really special.

Love Woodhouse Fire and Coal Pizza on Main Street, in SK. Their broccoli rabe is the best.

La Strada Wood Fired Pizza - From the music to the eclectic beer selection to the most fabulous wood fired pizza you will ever taste, this place ROCKS! Not to mention their energy consciousness and local sourcing of ingredients from RI farmers. Love it!!!!!

Pier Pizza is the best NY style pizza; I only wish they would bring back the Narragansett Pier location! La Strada gets high marks for its wood-fired, artisanal pizza - always interesting and they'll do parties at your house too, bringing the stove with them.

Trio has wonderful Artisan Pizza as does Domino. I'm not sure if you wanted to add a chain but I was pleased with Domino's Artisan Pizza's & their choices of crusts. Choice is the key word these days b/c if you don't offer it someone else will. It doesn't take much to keep a few cans of anchovies on hand or offer soy cheese. Crazy Burger took pizza off the menu for the summer or they'd def have my vote! I suggest adding Trio & Domino's!!

I wouldn't go back to Go Pasta after I requested parmesan cheese & they refused! The owner was rude and practically ORDERED me to like his pizza the way it is. Sorry pal, abruptness does not work well with me. I found the same attitude with his takeout side. It's his way or the highway. Even after being treated like that I still paid for the pizza and brought it home. It wasn't all that.....which reminds me..I need to get Yelping.

Hi Corrie - Nobody mentioned them during the nomination phase, or in the three weeks voting has been open. I'll add them now, but I think they're more known for burgers than pizza at this point, since they're in second (to Crazy Burger) in the burgers competition.
