A warrant was issued on Oct. 4 for a probation violation.

A warrant was issued on Oct. 4 for a probation violation.

Really? You people are freaking idiots to call this "news"! His arrest in Florida was because of an argument with his brother! Rhode Island has REAL Criminals that you should be looking into and considering that as "REAL NEWS"!

Felonies Angella, Felonies!! You don't call that news? I do. This lawbreaker needs to be taught a lesson, somehow.
On another note, why would the police want to see ID of a passenger in a car who didn't do anything wrong? I've been in cars when the driver got stopped for speeding, stop sign violation, things like that and never was I asked for an ID. Did he show it voluntarily or was it demanded from him? Did he have to show it? Any cops or lawyers out there know? Just curious more than anything else. I don't understand how this isn't violating his constitutional rights against unreasonable search. The passenger didn't do anything wrong.

It's not n unreasonable search, there was no search of this person at this point. The police can lawfully identify all occupants during any traffic stop. Now you understand how his rights were not violated
