Narragansett Police Log: February 3, 2013
A noise complaint leads to an arrest for a warrant.

Noise Complaint Leads to Warrant Arrest
Stuart G. King, 20, of 109 Martin St., Essex, MA, was arrested at about 1:57 a.m. on Feb. 3. Police said a Fourth Division District Court warrant was out for King’s arrest for failing to appear at a hearing related to a Narragansett police charge of transportation of alcohol by a minor.
According to police, at about 1:38 a.m. they received complaints of loud noises and fireworks being lit off from 31 Bristol Road.
Police said there was a party at the home, with about 30 to 40 people and 10 cars illegally parked on Bristol Road. Police said the renters were cooperative and helped to clear the residence.
According to police, the tenants were King, and 21-year-olds Nicholas J. Kovary and Daniel J. White. Police said background checks revealed the warrant for King’s arrest. He was arrested without incident, processed and then released at about 9 a.m.
Narragansett Man Arrested for Warrant
Anthony L. Pizzo, 30, of 71 Crestwood Drive, Narragansett, was arrested at about 9:36 a.m. on Feb. 3. Police said a Fourth Division District Court warrant was out for Pizzo’s arrest for a South Kingstown police charge of driving with a suspended license.
According to police, they received a complaint about Pizzo’s behavior from a family member, who wanted Pizzo removed from a home. Police said a background check revealed the warrant.
Police said Pizzo was arrested without incident as a result. He was transferred to the ACI at about 10:50 a.m.
Loud Party Broken Up On Westmoreland Street
At about 12:06 a.m. on Feb. 3, police received a report of a loud party at 14 Westmoreland Street.
According to police, about 50 to 60 people were at the home, with loud voices coming from the property. Police said the party was cleared quickly and without incident with the help of the tenants.
The tenants were identified as Alison E. Lovkay and Susannah M. Caffrey, both 19.
