CCRI Student Charged With Drunken Driving
Elizabeth K. Domina, 20, of 18 Wood Cove Drive, Coventry, was arrested at about 1:48 a.m. on Dec. 8 and charged with drunken driving and cited for transportation of alcohol by a minor. Police said Domina is a student at the Community College of Rhode Island.
According to police, they received a report of a car in the woods near Ocean Road. Police said the driver – Domina – told them that she had swerved to avoid hitting a deer, and drove over a stop sign and into the woods as a result.
However, police said that while speaking with Domina, she smelled strongly of alcohol. Police asked her to consent to field sobriety tests, which they said she failed, at which point she was arrested.
According to police, an inventory of Domina’s car revealed two 16-ounce cans of Miller Lite, a marijuana grinder, rolling papers and a smoking pipe.
Police said Domina consented to chemical breath tests, which revealed blood alcohol levels of .208 at 2:55 a.m. and .196 at 2:57 a.m. She was processed and then released at 4 a.m.

- At about 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 8, police received a report of a loud party at 51 Longview Drive.

The tenants were identified as 19-year-olds Luke Anthony Demaria, Louis Francis and Jordan S. Viera.
Teen Cited for Alcohol
Joseph R. Boudreau, 19, of 184 Pequot Trail, East Greenwich, was cited at about 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
According to police, while officers cleared the party at Longview Drive, they noted Boudreau standing near Knowlesway with a 12-pack of Shock Top beer. A background check confirmed that he was underage, and he was cited for the alcohol.
