MMM! Pancakes and Pashminas!

It’s only supposed to snow a little, folks – Make it over to Applebee’s for some pancakes and pashminas (scarves).

SOUTH KINGSTOWN – A group of local students that attend the St. Thomas More Parish in Narragansett are holding a pancake breakfast at Applebee’s today, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., to raise money for a mission trip.

It’s $7 per person for pancakes, juice, coffee and FUN! There will also be an amazing display of colorful pashmina scarves for sale – each scarf is $10.

According to Narragansett High School senior Gianna Tucker, students at NHS and the Prout School are raising the money for a parish mission trip to Standing Rock Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Other students participating are:

  • Narragansett High School seniors – Mary Sullivan, Holly McConnell, Tyler Burnell and Maddison Previte.
  • Narragansett High School sophomores – Vinny Santos, Steph Marsh, Collin McCadden.
  • The Prout School – seniors Rebecca Rogers and Jaime Doyal, and sophomore Sarah Doyal.

Can’t make it today, but still want to help out in some way? Give St. Thomas More a call at (401) 789-7682.
