Last weekend, Ina Sciabarrasi’s dogs were trapped under her shed, and without hesitation, the firefighters at the Kingston Fire Station helped her rescue the two.

According to Sciabarrasi, three of the firefighters examined the two dogs stuck under the shed and determined the quickest way to get them out would be by digging. The puppy managed to get herself out from under the shed quickly, but the firefighters had to dig for several minutes to free the older dog.

“I’m very grateful to Kingston Fire for their willingness to help and felt others would appreciate this story,” Sciabarrasi said.

The firefighters were identified as William Summerly, Pete Lutterbach and Alex Smith.
