A white deer - how majestic!

After several months of relative calm, it finally looks a bit like Christmas, only about a month after the fact.

Winter storm Jove brought about three to five inches of snow to the region, according to the National Weather Service. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. Tuesday as a result.

As of about midnight Monday, local schools have not instituted a delay or cancellation of any sort – Narragansett, South Kingstown, Chariho, Westerly and North Kingstown are still on schedule. For the list from the RIBA Cancellation System and AAA, click here.

Have pictures of the snow you’d like to share? Upload them to our contribution template! I’ve started y’all off with a picture of a white deer on Clarke Road that I saw yesterday afternoon.
