District Court Logs: Feb. 9

Several defendants went before the judge in district court today.

 

The following South Kingstown Police cases were heard before Judge Mary E. McCaffrey in Fourth Division District Court on Thursday, Feb. 9 at the J. Howard McGrath Judicial Complex, 4800 Tower Hill Road, South Kingstown:

Kayla A. Sheldon, 24, 8 French Road, Kingston, pleaded innocent to possession of marijuana. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 1.

Stephanie G. Harvey, 48, of 52 Pemberton Ave., Jamestown, pleaded innocent to driving under the influence, BAC unknown. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on Feb. 16.

Leah M. Sisson, 33, of 68 Willard Ave., South Kingstown, pleaded no contest to repeated violations of animal nuisance. She was ordered to pay a $100 fine plus court costs.

Jonathan C. Humphries, 23, of 37 Malcolm Road, Mahwah, New Jersey, pleaded innocent to disorderly conduct. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 1.

Jonathan O. Teixeira, 24, of 261 Power Road, Apt. 1, Pawtucket, pleaded innocent to driving with a suspended license and to driving under the influence with BAC .15 or greater. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on Feb. 16.

Justin R. Enos, 24, of 1767 South Road, Kingston, pleaded no contest to an amended charged of reckless driving. The charge was filed for one year, and he was ordered to pay $500 to the Victims of Crime Indemnity Fund as well as forfeit his license for 30 days.

Roy L. Smith, 43, of 753 Ten Rod Road, Apt. B, Exeter, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine plus court costs and have no further loss of license.

James B. Hunnicutt, 26, of 1445 Warwick Ave. Apt. 28, Warwick, pleaded no contest to driving under the influence. He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, forfeit his license for three months, complete DUI school, 10 hours of community service, assessments, and pay court costs.

Peter J. Yrchik Shoemaker, 19, of 136 Briarwood Drive, Wakefield, pleaded no contest to receiving stolen goods. The charge was filed for one year pending completion of treatment at the Phoenix House and payment of court costs.

Tammy Lee Silva, 36, of 480 South County Trail, Apt. 2-32, Exeter, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. She was ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs and have no further loss of license.

Nuno DeJesus, 35, of 201 Meadow St., Pawtucket, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. The charge was dismissed with costs.

Peter Lindley, 20, of 29 Tupelo Trail, Narragansett, pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs and have no further loss of license.

Johnny Wortham, 62, of 1470 Woodruff Ave., South Kingstown, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to six months of probation and ordered to pay court costs.

Matthew A. Frediani, 19, of 12 Dartmouth Road, Cranford, New Jersey, pleaded innocent to possession of marijuana. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on Feb. 23.

Amanda E. Eddy-Zubke, 21, of 28 Stony Fort Road, Saunderstown, pleaded innocent to vandalism. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on Feb. 23.

Marc James Dedonato, 19, of 11 Kerry Lane, North Easton, MA, pleaded innocent to possession of alcohol by a person under 21. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 1.

John J. Foran, 18, of 30 Heath Road, South Easton, MA, pleaded innocent to possession of alcohol by a person under 21. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 1.

Charles A. Schultz, 55, of 46 Kersey Road Apt. A, Wakefield, pleaded innocent to driving under the influence, second offense in five years, and driving with a suspended license for certain violations. He was released on bail pending a hearing on March 8.

Julie P. Kielbasa, 22, of 124 Taylor Road, Portsmouth pleaded innocent to driving under the influence. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance pending a hearing on March 8.
