Learn everything you need to know about this major health problem including:
- statistics,
- how to help a victim,
- the cycle of abuse,
- effects on the victim
- why teens are so vulnerable
The best way to protect yourself and others is through prevention, and prevention starts with knowing all the facts.
Presented by Ann Burke, M.Ed., President of the Lindsay Ann Burke Memorial Fund, this program is for teens, parents, teachers and anyone with an interest in this problem. Registration is requested but not required. The prigram is at 6:30 p.m. today at the North Kingstown Free Library, 100 Boone St., North Kingstown.
2. An inside view of the mechanics of the exhibit process. Learn how curators select and prepare objects for exhibition....from the earliest stages through final installation. Explore the special challenges presented by antiquarian specimens and objects such as those found in this Museum's collections.
The cost is $3 per adult. Free for Museum members. Sign up for 2 or more programs in LLL series to receive a reduced fee of $2 per adult.
