5 THINGS: It's A Celebration, Charlie Murphy!

It's a celebration for West Kingston! (For real this time, promise!) Today will feature the re-dedication of the outdoor classroom at West Kingston Elementary School. The Ann Perkins Outdoor Classroom was recently refurbished by South Kingstown High School senior Douglas Arnold. The ceremony is at 1:45 p.m., and it is open to members of the public. Huzzah! According to a release sent to us, Wakefield’s Kyle Cook, a student at Quinnipiac, was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society for undergraduate and graduate programs that are accredited by the AACSB International. To be eligible for induction, students must be ranked in the top 10 percent of their junior or senior class or the top 20 percent of their master's class. In addition, they must also maintain a grade point average that is above 3.75. It is the highest honor business students at Quinnipiac can earn.

“Bicycle, bicycle!” – Freddy Mercury, Queen, from this song. Starting this Wednesday and continuing until the end of the school year, there will be a bike train to Curtis Corner, Broad Rock, Wakefield and Peace Dale schools. For more info, such as departing times, click .

“ACTING!” – Master Thespian (Jon Lovitz), Saturday Night Live. The Contemporary Theatre Company is offering acting classes at 5 p.m. The cost is $10.

Register for Narragansett summer camp! Narragansett Parks and Recreation is now taking registrations for , which begins June 25. The cost is $135, and the camp typically runs into late August.
