5 THINGS: Coffee Chat, Stars and Rocky's Birthday

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Friday, July 6, 2012:

Mmm, good conversation and coffee! Experience Real Estate on Arnold Street in Wakefield is hosting its “” coffee event from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. today. The cost is $5.

Run, don’t walk, to the walking club. The Steppin’ Out walking club at the South Kingstown Senior Center meets weekly at 9:30 a.m. For more info, click .

Narragansett summer concert series starts tonight! Check out the Rhode Island Rednecks at 6 p.m. at Gazebo Park. Admission is free.

“My god, it’s full of stars!” If you have an interest in astronomy, well, Frosty Drew is the place for you tonight. They are holding an observation starting at 7:30 p.m. tonight. The event is held every Friday, in case you can’t make it today. For more info, click .

Do you like watching people run around? If so, you should make the hike up to Rhode Island College, as it is hosting the Hershey Track and Field meet. The meet starts at 5 p.m. Make the drive to see some of the state’s best runners between the ages of 9 and 14.

Goddard Park + farming = crazy delicious. There will be a at the park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.

Blogging, events, letters, what more could you want? Many people often ask me, “Hey are you the Patch guy?” And the answer is yes, yes I am. Then, most often they want to know how they can get things on the site. Let me present you with three options:
